OLA Cab Driver Arrested For Raping Minor

Hyderabad: A cab driver was arrested for raping a minor girl here on Wednesday at Rein Bazaar. The accused Aslam is a Ola driver who lured the girl on the pretext of a birthday party and by saying that they reside in the same colony, police said.

The victim aged (16) left her house around 4 pm on Tuesday and didn't return home and her family started searching for her, said the girl's mother.

He lured the girl pretending that it was his birthday and misbehaved with her. When she resisted, he beat her up and raped her. The girl was rescued by her parents when they went to his house, said the police.

Following a complaint given by the victim's parents, the police filed a case under the sections POCSO and arrested the cabbie.
