CCTVs In Rajahmundry Female Railway Staff Changing Room, Superintendent Suspended
Rajahmundry: The railway police arrested Ramachandrapuram railway station superintendent, MD Riyaz for placing a CCTV camera in a dressing room which was attached to his room. He recorded the footage of woman employees changing from their civilian dress into uniform.
According to CI Madhusudhan Reddy, the accused Md Riyaz kept a CCTV camera in the dressing room and secretly recorded the footage of woman changing their clothes. A woman employee, a class IV worker noticed a CCTV camera while changing her dress. She found a LED light constantly blinking inside the cupboard and discovered a camera, she opened the memory card and checked it in her mobile to find the photos of her and other women employees.
She immediately informed the railway officials and the railway superintendent, Md Riyaz was reportedly under suspension. Based on the complaint lodged by a woman, the railway police filed a case under sections IPC 354 (C) and IPC 66 (E) of IT act. The accused will be held soon and produced before the court.
