Police Case Filed Against TV Anchor Ravi

Hyderabad: A case was filed against popular Telugu TV anchor Ravi in the S.R.Nagar Police Station by a person named Sandeep. Sandeep alleged that Ravi had abused him on the phone and threatened to attack him over a financial dispute and had also warned him that he would physically harm him if he didn't repay the fifteen lakhs Rupees he borrowed from Ravi. Sandeep is the film distributor of Anchor Ravi's Telugu debut film Idi Ma Prema Kadha, which tanked at the box office on day one iteself. Apparently Ravi had lent the amount to Sandeep on good will and now he alleges that Ravi is threatening him to repay the amount.

Meanwhile the S R Nagar have a registered the case and have called Ravi to come to the station for questioning . Ravi is currently out of Hyderabad for the shooting of a Diwali TV program and might come back and proceed legally against Sandeep.
