Father Rapes Daughter in Avanigadda

Avanigadda: A minor girl was raped by her father. The incident took place at Modmudi, Avanigadda Mandal of Krishna District.

According to SI K Mani Kumar, the accused works as a government teacher. He was married to a woman in 2002 and they had a 4-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy. Due to differences between the couple, they live separately. She lives at her father's home.

The accused would often visit his daughter at school. On October 6, the father raped his daughter and later left her at the school. Next day morning, the girl was taken to a local government hospital after she complained of stomach ache. The doctors who examined the child said that the girl had been raped. The police filed case under POSCO against the accused and a probe is on.
