Retd Judge & Wife Commit Suicide In Succession In Tirupati
In a tragic incident in the temple town of Tirupathi, Pamuluru Sudhakar (63), a retired additional district judge from Tiruchanur committed suicide by throwing himself under a train on Friday. Unable to bear the death of her husband, his wife Varalakshmi (56) also committed suicide in the same manner on the same day, at the same location .The couple died within a few hours of each other.Sudhakar and Varalakshmi have to grown up children Sandeep & Ajitha who were staying in Bangalore.
Sudhakar & Varalakhsmi were staying in an apartment in Tiruchanur .He had retired as an additional district judge from Tirupathi in 2014 & was working as an arbitrator for a private chit fund company based in Tirupathi. Sudhakar allegedly left home in the morning hours and committed suicide at around 11 AM by throwing himself under a train. In his suicide note, he mentioned that he was ending his life as he was unable to bear the pains and ill health which he was suffering from for a very long time.
His son Sandeep came down to Tirupathi after getting the tragic news and when they were going through some formalities with the police Varalakshmi gave the slip when no one was watching and went to the same place and committed suicide just like her husband by falling under the train in the evening hours. Their mutilated bodies were recovered from the railway tracks near Chadalavada Engineering College in Renigunta, near Tirupati. Tirupati Advocates Association former president V Srinivasulu and other lawyers expressed their condolences on the death of the former judge and his wife.
