Depressed Hyd Youth Commits Suicide

Hyderabad: A depressed youth committed suicide here after being separated from his wife. According to the police, the incident took place under the limits of Neredmet police station in PB colony. The deceased Naveen (24) and a woman fell in love and got married in March, 2018. They were happy for some time after their marriage and later his wife sought to live alone. Naveen tried to convince her in vain.

Meanwhile, Naveen went into depression following separation from his wife. Yesterday, he expressed his dissatisfaction to his mother and went to sleep. The next morning, Naveen found dead in his room. Naveen's mother filed a case in the Neredmet police station holding his wife responsible for his death. The police started probing the matter.

In a similar incident, The suicide of two class 10 students sent shock waves across the town here on Sunday. Prior to the investigation, the police registered the incident as a case of suspicious deaths. However, after detailed investigation, DSP Venkata Ramana revealed shocking details on the cause of the deaths.

According to the DSP, the two students had committed suicide owing to depression over love failure drawing inspiration from a recent Telugu film 'RX 100'. "The two class 10 students, who were studying in the same school, developed love for a girl simultaneously without being aware about the other’s ‘love’ for the same girl. Initially they did not know that they were in love with the same girl. Fearing circumstances, they did not propose to the girl and kept it to themselves. Recently the two boys realized that they loved the same girl and felt that they would not be able to live without her," he said.

The police feel that the two might have decided to sacrifice their lives fearing resistance from the school management and their parents over their love. At around 7 pm on September 30th, the two had consumed alcohol in a secluded place and set themselves on fire. While one of them died on the spot, another boy lost his life while undergoing treatment in Karimnagar district hospital.
