The suspicious death of a woman in Kasibugga was widely reported earlier - Sakshi Post

Srikakulam: The suspicious death of a woman in Kasibugga was widely reported earlier. Now her parents alleged that their son-in-law is the accused behind the death of the victim Naga Kanaka Durga.

They alleged that their daughter would never commit suicide and Satyanarayana did not inform them about her death. They reached there only after being informed by the locals.

On Tuesday night, the victim allegedly committed suicide and her parents learned of the matter and reached Palasa on Wednesday at 10'o clock along with 50 relatives. Satyanarayana was beaten up by the crowd for killing Kanaka Durga. Later they lodged a complaint against Satyanarayana in Kasibugga police station.

The victim's father Nagabhushanam said "Durga is an MSC graduate and she was married 11 years ago. For the past 8 years, Satyanarayana had not sent their daughter to her hometown. He also stopped contact through phone between them from 8 years. He tortured and harassed her mentally and physically.

Nagabhushanam added that Satyanarayana himself approached Durga and married her while Durga was preparing for Public Service Commission examinations.

"We are very depressed with the media, police and TV channels for showing that the suicide note was written by their daughter but it was not,” they said. They demanded a special investigation. The police are reinvestigating the case and have collected relevant details from the victim's family members.
