Notorious Chaddi Gang Member Arrested

Hyderabad: The Rachakonda police has arrested a criminal in Gujarat on Tuesday who was a member of the notorious Chaddi gang.

Following information received from reliable sources, police formed special teams and went to Dahod district in Gujarat to nab the criminal. They nabbed one of the wanted criminals, Khaju Mavoji (30) at Garbada bus stand. According to the police, Khaju was earlier arrested in a theft case in 2011 and later came out on bail. He joined the Chaddi gang and committed criminal offenses.

Earlier, the Chaddi Gang terrorised people of the Telugu-speaking states by committing a series of robberies in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Earlier, the Rachakonda police arrested four other criminals from this gang and sent them for remand. There are 29 cases filed against Khaju Mavoji till date, said Rachakonda CP Mahesh Bhagavat.
