Police File Suicide Attempt Case Against Nilani

Perambur: Madhuravail police filed a case against Tamil TV actress Nilani who recently attempted suicide. The actress became popular by starring in Sterlite fight sequences in a police uniform, widely telecast on social media channels. Later she was arrested and also released on bail.

Nilani again came to light by filing a complaint in a Milapur police station against her boyfrined Gandhi Lalith Kumar who is an assistant director. A depressed Lalith Kumar committed suicide by immolating himself. Meanwhile, Nilani escaped when the police started investigating her.

Later, she went to Chennai police commissioner’s office and gave a letter stating that she was not responsible for Lalith Kumar’s suicide. Lalith Kumar’s brother filed a case against Nilani and on September 20th, She consumed mosquito repellent and attempted suicide. Locals shifted her to Raipet government hospital and the police filed a suicide case against Nilani while undergoing treatment. It is learned that few more interesting facts are yet to be known in the further investigation.
