Banjara Hills Woman Files Cheating Complaint Against Boyfriend

Hyderabad: A woman filed a complaint against her boyfriend in Banjara Hills police station of the city, accusing him of cheating her after promising to marry her. According to the police, the victim works as a software engineer in Hyderabad. In 2009, she met Uday Shankar when she was pursuing her Intermediate in SR Nagar.
They fell in love and also shared a live-in relationship when he promised to marry her. About two weeks ago, when she asked him about marriage, he assured her and her parents as well, that he would marry her. Later, he left for his hometown. When the victim called him, he is supposed to have said, "I can't marry you because of your caste. Moreover, you can't give me enough dowry," he said.
The victim learned that she was cheated by him and on Thursday, she filed a complaint. The police started probing the matter.
