Nalgonda: Nalgonda district collector Gaurav Uppal, SP Avi Ranganath assured the family members of Pranay and his wife Amrutha that they will try to set up a fast-track court to prosecute the murder case of Pranay. Amrutha and Pranay family members met Collector and SP at the camp office and spoke exclusively with them.

The officials asked Amrutha about the problems faced by the couple and how they managed life after discontinuing their studies. The collector offered Rs 8 lakh ex-gratia from the state government to Amrutha. Rs 4 lakh was already given and she has been promised a job and a house.

The officials asked them if they need any further assistance to help in the case. Amrutha and her family members demand a non-bailable arrest warrant to the accused and also requested a fast-track court to speed up the investigation. Later, they interacted with the media and revealed the details. The collector and SP explained the investigation process, details of the accused and the case trial to Amrutha.

Amrutha said that a trust will be set up in the name of Perumalla Pranay, who sacrificed his life for love. She demanded the Amrutha Genius school building in Maruthi Rao's house be registered in the name of the trust. The government should ensure that all the properties which were illegally acquired by Maruthi Rao should be turned over to the trust. The trust in the name of Pranay will do justice to the people who lost their properties for Maruthi Rao, said Amrutha.

Amritha and Pranay's father Balaswamy demanded that seven persons who were involved in the murder of Pranay should be hanged. If Sravan is released from jail, he would kill them too and also provide false evidence, said Amrutha.
