Contractor Held For Sexual Assault On Woman

Hyderabad: A labour contractor was arrested by the police in a sexual assault case involving a daily wage labourer. It is learnt that the victim, her husband and four year-old daughter, had migrated to the city from a village in Rangareddy district a few months ago. The accused befriended her and offered her work at a construction site in Narsingi in the city. He is said to have sexually assaulted her there.

The victim, a resident of Shaikpet in the city, complained to her husband. Three days after the incident, she lodged a complaint with the Narsingi police, who arrested the accused and are probing the case.
