Nellore Civil Engineer Death Shrouded In Mystery  

Nayudupet/Nellore: A Civil Engineer was killed and his body buried at Koneti Rajupalem. The deceased was identified as Tanniru Suresh Gopi (25).

According to the police, Gopi completed his B.tech in Civil Engineering and was working with a contractor, named Tirupathi Rao. A few days ago, the contractor instructed Gopi to work with Koneti Rajupalem staff since the JCB and Lorries were there.

On August 22, Gopi called his mother to inform that he had reached Nayudupet. Next day morning, they found that his mobile was switched off. Since there was no response from Gopi, his parents contacted Tirupathi Rao to know about his whereabouts. The contractor asked them to go to Koneti Rajupalem.

The family members reached Koneti Rajupalem on August 25 and learned that he had not gone to the village. Sirigiri Srinivasulu, one of the family members filed a complaint at the nearest police station. The police filed a missing case and started probing.

Meanwhile, police interrogated the staff and learned that he was killed and buried. Immediately, the DSP and other police officials found the spot and identified the body. The police suspect that the lorry drivers from Jharkhand who have gone missing from the day of incident. DSP Rambabu said that a complete investigation will be done in the presence of Revenue department officials.
