Police Suspect Extra-Marital Affair Behind Knife Attack On Hanuman Junction Beautician 

Vijayawada: In a gory incident, a murderous attempt was made against a lady at Hanuman Junction near here yesterday. The hands and legs of a beautician from Hanuman Junction town in Krishna district were tied up and she was attacked with a knife by a few unidentified persons.

According to police, the beautician has been identified as Pilli Padma. Padma was attacked with a knife by unidentified persons and was left in a pool of blood. Her attacker presumably thought she was dead. Noticing her in a serious condition, her neighbours called up the police. Padma was shifted to Eluru Government hospital.

It is learnt that Padma was in an extra-marital relationship which could be the reason for the attack. Padma left her husband and had been living with one Nutan Kumar, in Bapulapadu. Her husband may have been responsible for the deadly attack on her, angered over being deserted by her, the cops infer. Padma’s relatives are also in agreement with the police on this.
