Ambedkarnagar Man Drowns In Lake, Baby Slips Into Sump in Boduppal

Hyderabad: A man allegedly slipped into a lake and died at Ambedkarnagar here on Friday in the limits of Jawaharnagar police station. He was identified as P Vinod (28) and had gone to Ambedkarnagar lake for fishing along with his friend Gunashekar. Vinod accidentally slipped into the lake and drowned, said the police.

When Vinod fell into the lake and started drowning, immediately Gunashekar informed the police. The Jawaharnagar police deployed two diving teams but their efforts have gone vain.

However, the team found the body on Saturday morning. It was shifted to Gandhi Hospital morgue for autopsy. Based on the complaint given by the victim's brother, the police started probing the case

City Boy Drowns After Falling In Sump

Hyderabad: A two-year-old boy died after he slipped into a water sump accidentally. The incident happened here on Friday at Boduppal, Medipally. Rakshit, son of Bhaskar works as a watchman from Boduppal.

According to the police, the boy was playing in the neighbor's house and suddenly stepped on the cover of the sump and fell into it as it was not covered properly. The neighbours who heard some noise from the water sump, came to rescue him. Immediately, he was rushed to the local hospital but the doctors declared him dead.

The Medipally police filed a case against the landlord and started probing.
