Gang of 5 Women Traffickers Arrested In Yadadri

Yadadri: Police arrested five women traffickers allegedly connected with a prostitution ring involving minors, here today. Acting on a tip-off about trafficking of minors, police swung into action and conducted raids on a brothel. They took the 5 traffickers into custody and rescued 5 minors.

The cops have so far arrested 24 women traffickers and have registered P.D. cases against three of them.

On July 31, the Special Operations Team (SOT) of the Rachakonda police rescued 11 minor girls, aged under 10, in a raid on a home in the temple town. In a shocking discovery, eight men who were organizing the racket were arrested while the girls were found to have been injected with hormones. As per the police, the girls were trafficked from various parts of the State.
