Anantapur Lovers Death Suicide Or Murder?

Anantapur: A young couple was found dead on the railway tracks near Rallananthapuram on Friday morning in the district.

According to railway police and locals, Uma Devi (21) and Boya Madhu (25) were in a relationship for some time. On learning of the daughter's affair with Madhu, Uma Devi's father decided to get his daughter married and was on the lookout for a bridegroom. Meanwhile, Uma who learnt of this and did not want to marry another guy eloped with her boyfriend Madhu on Thursday night.

Depressed over their parents' rejection of marriage, the duo who met at the Rallananthapuram of Mudigubba mandal decided to end their lives. They were found dead on Friday morning on the railway tracks.

After the preliminary examination, the police were not able to ascertain if it was a suicide or murder as the face of the girl was disfigured and the boy's hands and legs were detached from his body. The bodies were handed over to their families after the autopsy.
