Task Force Busts Prostitution Racket In Karkhana

Hyderabad: The North Zone Task Force Police on Tuesday busted a prostitution racket in Karkhana's residential area here. DCP Radhakishan Rao said that the police have arrested four, including two persons responsible for running the racket, and rescued an Odisha-based woman. City-based Lakshmi and Vijaya Kumari from Rajahmundry colluded with Shankar from Yousufguda in the city and organised the crime in an apartment in a residential area in Karkhana.

Taking action on a tip-off over the extortion of a woman from Odisha, the Task Force police raided the house and arrested organizers Vijaya Kumari and Shankar, along with customers Vijay and Deepak. For further investigation, the Task Force personnel have handed the case over to Karkhana police, it is learnt.

Prostitution In The Name Of Real Estate Business

Nacharam: On Tuesday, Nacharam police discovered a prostitution racket in the face of a real estate office in Habsiguda's Haripriya Complex. According to reports, Uppal resident Mallikarjun opened a real estate office "Sri Sudha Real Estate" recently. He colluded with Kasoju Sudha alias Fathima and carried out prostitution business for a few days.

Acting on a tip-off over hiring girls from Mumbai, Nacharam police raided the office and arrested Mallikarjun, Fathima, and rescued the girls. Inspector Vithal Reddy said that the accused have been booked.
