Obscene Dance At Vijayawada Hotel, 55 Arrested

Vijayawada: Five women and 50 men were taken into custody by the police at the Olive Tree Hotel in Bhavanipuram here, over obscene dancing at a party organised by an important leader from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), on Wednesday midnight.

Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid, in which they recovered huge volume of liquor and condoms at the hotel premises.

In the raid, the police caught five Hyderabad-based event anchors, who were brought to the city to host the party. The anchors were reportedly handed over to Vasavya Womens Association, while 15 men were taken to Bhanipuram police station, and 10 each to 1 town and Ibrahimpatnam police stations. However, reports suggest that the police had let go off a family member of the TDP leader, who was also present at the party. It is learnt that the parties are a regular feature at the hotel.
