Helpless Man Spends A Week With Wife’s Dead Body

Doddaballapur (Karnataka): In a bizarre incident, a 42-year-old woman's death came into light a week after it happened right beside her paralysed husband in KHB Colony of Karawara area here. The deceased, identified as Girija Madival, died of heart attack last week. Her husband, Anand Madival, has been paralysed, and he spent almost a week with his wife's dead body in a helpless state.

The wife of Anand was working as a maid in the locality. After Girija did not show up for work for many days, a few people came to her house to enquire, but to their utter shock, she was lying dead beside Anand, who is currently battling for life at a hospital. The police rushed to the spot after learning about it and took appropriate measures.
