Drunken Man Shoots Wife Dead For Not Cooking Egg Curry 

Lucknow: In a shocking incident, a drunken man shot his wife dead for not cooking egg curry. The incident took place in Shajahanpur district of Uttarpradesh. According to the police, Navneeth (33) and Mangesh Sukla (30) had been married for 12 years. The couple had three children. Navneeth is a farmer and got addicted to alchohol.

On Thursday, Navneeth came home in an intoxicated state and argued with his wife to prepare egg curry. Angered by his wife’s refusal to comply he shot her dead with his father's licensed gun. Hearing the sound of gunfire, the locals rushed to Navneeth’s house and they rushed her to a hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival.

Sukla's brother lodged a complaint against Navneeth and the police started investigation. Navneeth was taken into custody on Friday and produced before the Chief Judicial Megistrate.
