Fake Education Certificate Racket Busted

Hyderabad: Two people were arrested on Wednesday for selling fake diploma certificates after receiving orders from customers. These people who would use them for getting a job or for matrimonial alliance purposes. The accused N. Raghu (22), a native of Bollikunta in Warangal district joined hands with T Naga (24) for indulging in the fraud.

According to Rachakonda police, Neerati Raghu made fake certificates with the help of Photoshop after scanning the original certificates and marks memos from the board of technical education. Raghu's friend Thangirala Naga too helped him in preparing the certificates. The police also found that the accused were selling non-judicial stamp papers without license.

The accused carried on the unethical business via an internet cafe in Abdullapurmet where the police conducted raids and arrested them. An amount of Rs 60,000, fake certificates, stamp papers were seized by the police.
