Forty Five lakh Looted From Indian Overseas Bank in Rourkela

An Indian Overseas Bank branch in Rourkela was looted and decamped with a staggering Rs 45 lakh INR, when the employees were opening the bank today morning. Unidentified dacoits barged into the Bazar branch of Indian Overseas wearing helmets and masks.

According to eyewitnesses, they were seven to eight in number. They attacked the employees and looted the bank threatening them on gunpoint. Rourkela Superintendent of Police and DIG rushed to the spot on being informed about the incident and.

Police launched a probe into the bank loot and have sealed all entry points into city. The dacoits are suspected to be from neighboring Jharkhand state. Rourkela Superintendent of Police and DIG were among those, who visited the spot.
