Body Of Missing Kerala College Girl Found in TN

Chennai: Police suspect that the body which was found in a burnt condition, could be that of missing Kerala student Jesna Maria James. Jesna went missing on her way to her aunt Cecily's house in Kottayam, on March 22. The mysterious disappearance of the 20-year-old B. Com student from Pathanamthitta had triggered a major search operation. Police had announced a 2 lakh rupee reward for any information on her whereabouts.

On May 28, police came to know of a body lying by the side of national highway near Chengalpattu, in a burnt state. Police suspect that the body which was founded in a wooded area, could be that of Jesna, after checking details such as her height and age. The local police authorities promptly informed their Kerala counterparts.
