Bhimavaram: CPM Andhra Pradesh state secretary P Madhu lambasted TDP and BJP on Tuesday for being unfair to the people of AP as they failed to keep up the promises they had made during the elections.

Addressing the media at the party's state convention held in Bhimavaram, he said that the primary aim of holding the convention is to bring awareness among the people about the two parties and the promises they had made. He further said that both the parties have failed to meet the expectations of the people.

"Many youth in the state are unemployed and most of them are from backward districts. They are not satisfied with the centre's attitude on special status and worried about getting job opportunities," Madhu said.

The party state secretary also criticized the AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for not disclosing the facts on the Polavaram project and also misleading the people with fake schemes and programmes which are not beneficial to anyone.

He also said that no one can help the people to solve their issues and they have to resolve it through protests and agitations.
