CPI protests against raid on Maqdoom Bhavan

CPI workers led by its State secretary Narayana on Saturday organised a demonstration at the Police Commissionerate protesting against yesterday’s raid on the CPI office Maqdoom Bhavan in Himayat Nagar on the eve of ‘Chalo Assembly’.
Earlier, the CPI workers took out a rally from Maqdoom Bhavan to Basheerbagh Police Commissioner’s office. They raised slogans against the police excesses. They gave up the agitation after Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma tendered an apology to the party workers.
