Court pulls up Sailajanath, asks to justify medical claims

A division bench comprising Chief Justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta and Justice P.V. Sanjay Kumar of the AP High Court on Monday asked former Primary Education Minister and Congress MLA from Singanamala constituency, Sake Sailajanath to justify the foreign medical claims. 

The court asked the Government to file the counter petition in three weeks. 

The court also asked whether the treatment for which he went abroad, was not available in India?  

A petition was filed in the Court saying that Sailajanth spent valuable public money for his treatment in abroad. The court adjourned the matter for three weeks.
