Hail! For it's bail for Jagan
In a big relief to YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the CBI special court at Nampally on Monday granted bail to him in connection with the case pertaining to quid pro quo deals.
Jagan was directed to furnish two surety bonds for Rs. 2-lakh each and sureties of two other persons for the like sum. The YSRCP office wore a festive look with supporters of Jagan celebrating his return after 16 months of unlawful arrest.
There were celebrations in the court premises soon after the order was read out with YSR Congress supporters and workers bursting firecrackers and exchanging sweets.
He's likely to be released from jail on Tuesday afternoon.
The CBI told the court that it could not find any evidence of quid pro quo deals between Jagan and the following companies: Sundur Power, Jubilee Media Communications, Mantri Developers, Caramel Asia, PVP Business Ventures, Classic Realty, Brahmani Infratech, R R Global and Saraswati Power.
The CBI also informed the Nampally court that the investigation has been completed on all aspects as per the directions of the High Court.
Jagan’s wife YS Bharati and several other party leaders were present in the court hall when the court delivered the judgement.
Jagan was arrested by the CBI May last year, and has been lodged in Chanchalguda Central Jail in Hyderabad.
