Court adjourns election affidavit case against Parthasarathy

A court in Vijayawada city on Wednesday adjourned the election affidavit case of Secondary Education Minister K Parthasarathy to June 14.

Former Krishna District Collector complained to the Chief Election commissioner that a case was pending against him in the Economic Offences court when the Parthasarathy was contesting 2009 assembly polls from Penamaluru Assembly constituency.

Thereafter, the election commission began probe into the case and verified the allegations to be true. There are rumours that the education minister too got a call from Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy. Speculation is rife that Parthasarathy is next in line to receive marching orders.
