Couple Murdered in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: A married couple was murdered at Padamati Lanka Ramalingeshwar Nagar fish market on Sunday.It is suspected that burglars who attempted theft at the house must have killed the couple identified as Munagapati Gangadhar(45) and Veeranjamma(40). The miscreants slitted the throats of both husband and wife. The incident is believed to have taken place in the wee hours on Sunday, but the neighbours noticed it late in the morning. People are worried a lot with serious crimes taking place in Vijayawada almost on a daily basis, especially ever since the chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu started sitting in the city. Investigation is on.
