Corrupt cop awaiting suspension orders

Hyderabad: Kukatpally ACP Sanjeev Rao who was recently caught in the Anti-Corruption-Bureau (ACB) dragnet is now awaiting suspension. He has been replaced by Bhujanga Rao.

The ACB had earlier found ACP Sanjeev Rao to have amassed a great deal of wealth and had arrested him. On Thursday, higher officials of the police department had issued him suspension orders. He has been replaced by ACP Bhujanga Rao.

Acting on a complaint, the ACB had earlier conducted raids not only on Sanjeev Rao's residence but also on the residences belonging to his family and relatives. They had found lots of cash, property documents and jewelry in lockers.
