Corporator’s Son Booked For Attacking Businessman At Kukatpally

Hyderabad: Allwyin Colony Corporator Dodla Venkatesh Goud's son Ramu Goud and his friens were booked for attacking a businessman in Kukatpally on Thursday.

Ramu Goud and his friends created ruckus at KPHB after getting drunk and assaulted two persons. A case was registered at the KPHB police station.

One Hemanth Varma, a local businessman along with his friends lodged a complaint with the KPHB police stating that Ramu Goud and his associates beat him and his friends on the main road in an inebriated condition when they asked him to remove his car from their way at a tea stall on Wednesday night.

Hemanth, Manideep, Singaiah, G. Sridhar Babu, P. Satish and Jai Krishna went to Siri Tiffin Centre to have tea. After having tea while returning they saw a car parked in the middle of the road. Hemanth requested the people in the car to move aside from the road and give them way. Then Ramu Goud and his friends got down from the vehicle and started abusing Hemanth, police said.

Police said the two groups clashed near a tea stall in KPHB after attending Ganesh immersion processions. "Ramu Goud and his friends assaulted Hemanth inflicting bleeding injuries," said inspector Kushalkar.

After examining CCTV footage, the police booked a case against Ramakrishna and his friends. They were released later on a station bail.
