Cops Must Get Tech-Savvy To Crack Crimes

Hyderabad: Gone are the days when burglars used to keep an eye on prey and then launch an attack. Thieves have gone hi-tech and so are their heists. This eventually led the police personnel too to upgrade their investigation process with the help of technology. In this backdrop, a seminar titled ‘Investigation Challenges’ was held in the city on Tuesday.

The event was chaired by Cyberabad police commissioner Sandeep Shandilya, Joint police commissioner Shahnawaz Qasim, Cyberabad DCP Janaki Sharmila and others. The top police officials called upon their officers to update themselves with technology since the number of cyber crimes is on the rise and to deal with them, police have to get equipped with latest and sophisticated technology.
