Cops get Revanth's custody

The ACB court judge on Friday gave custody of arrested TDP MLA Revanth Reddy to the police for four days.

Revanth was arrested after he was found bribing TRS MLA Stefenson to vote for the TDP candidate in the MLC elections. He is currently lodged in Cherlapally.

After hearing to both arguments, ACB special court judge pronounced his ruling after 4 PM. Revanth would now question Revanth Reddy to know the linkages in the Cash for Vote scam and know if there were other people involved in the scam. Revanth would be questioned in the presence of his lawyers and the court directed the cops not to subject the MLA to any physical harassment.

Meanwhile, the hearing on Revanth Reddy's bail petition was postponed to June 9. ACB (Anti corruption Bureau) arrested MLA Revanth Reddy Late on Sunday for trying to lure Nominated MLA Stephenson to vote for TDP's MLC candidate in June 1 election. Revanth Reddy was clearly recorded in audio and video while explaining his 'Cash for Vote' deal to the nominated MLA.
