Cop Says It’s Advantage YSRCP In Nandyal, Gets Shunted Out

Already unnerved by the cold reception from the people, the ruling TDP is pulling all stops in Nandyal. The ruling dispensation is not ready to listen to any contrarian opinion.

Recently, a Muslim constable was shunted out to a remote place just because he had said in his situational report that the YSRCP was having an edge in the Nandyal bypoll. The police official had prepared a report by conducting a survey at the ground level. His report said that that the people are favourably inclined towards the YSRCP candidate. Highly placed reports say that the higher officials wanted him to tweak the report in favour of the ruling TDP. However, the official declined.

The buzz is that angered over his report, Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya has shunted him off to far off place in Adoni. Leaders of several political parties have decried this "vengeful" act.
