Coop society elections on Jan 24,28

The state government after dilly-dallying on the issue of elections to cooperative societies, has now released the poll schedule. The government had several times in the past had evaded the setting of dates.
Elections to cooperative societies in the state will be held in two phases in January 2013.
Minister for Cooperatives Kasu Venkata Krishna Reddy told reporters in Hyderabad on Wednesday that the elections will be held in two phases. The first phase will be held on January 24 and the second phase on January 28, 2013.
The minister said that members in different organisations should renew their membership.
