Constable beheaded

In a gory incident, some unidentified miscreants beheaded a constable and threw the torso and the severed head at different places.This shocking incident occurred in Atmakur near Nandyal in Kurnool district and the constable was identified as Vekateswarlu, who is attached to the 9th Battalion. The head was found in Bandi Atmakur.Venkateswarlu has been found missing for the past five days. He went on leave to drop his family in his native village. Ever since, he could not be traced. When his head was found, a search was launched in the area and the decapitated body was recovered from Koduru.The police suspect that the murder could have been done two days ago.
