Congress suffers setback in Pedakurapadu
Congress party, which has nominal presence in Guntur district after the bifurcation of the state, has suffered another setback in the district.
Senior party leader in Amaravati Nimma Vijayasagar Babu joined YSRCP on Sunday along with his 2000 followers.
YSRCP candidate from Pedakurapadu assembly constituency Bolla Brahma Naidu welcomed Babu and his followers into the party.
Speaking on the occasion, Babu said that the development of Seemandhra state would be possible only with YSRCP president Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy. “Only Y.S.Jagan can continue the welfare schemes introduced by late chief minister Dr.Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy,” said Babu.
Babu’s followers said that they would take part in the success of YSRCP.
