Congress Opens State Bank Of Tomato After Prices Skyrocket 

New Delhi: In protest of soaring tomato prices, the Congress opened the State Bank of Tomato in Lucknow on Wednesday. Interestingly, it provides provisions for those who can't afford to buy tomato. Apart from schemes, it also provides lockers and loan facility. The bank would function from 10am to 5pm.

Incidentally, the bank found depositors too. One Srikrishna Verma said, "I have deposited 0.5kg tomatoes, I will get 1kg after 6 months."

The move comes after the Opposition attacked the government over the agrarian crisis and tomato prices touching the roof.
