Congress MP hits out at TRS, complains to EC - Sakshi Post

Congress Rajya Sabha MP Rapolu Anand Bhaskar accused the ruling TRS for questionable and unethical practices to win MLC elections. Anandh Bhaskar and Rajya Sabha MP MA Khan submitted a complaint to EC (election commission) on the issue.


He questioned the delay in suspending the Congress MLA's who joined TRS 2014 elections. The council polls of Telangana for 5 seats are scheduled on June 1. TRS can easily win 4 seats but it has also put up a fifth candidate making election mandatory. The TRS already started wooing opposition MLA's to vote for their candidate. On Thursday, KTR spoke with YSRCP YS Jagan and requested for his support.
Opposing these moves, the Congress demanded that the election commission put an end to these pernicious practices.
