Congress MLCs to join TDP ?

TDP Rajya Sabha member C.M.Ramesh said that several MLCs belonging to other parties would be joining the TDP.

Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad on Saturday, he said, “The list includes those from Congress Party and some independent MLCs.”

He said, “The MLCs, Sk.Hussain, Reddappa Reddy, Chaitanya Raju, Ravi Kiran Varma, Bachchulu Pullaiah, Srinivasulu Naidu and Ilapuram Venkaiah are joining TDP at 6 pm on Saturday in the presence of Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu.”

There are only seven members for the TDP in legislative council at present.

As per the sources, the party is luring some MLCs from other parties with the intention of taking up the post of Chairman of Legislative Council.

Congress MLCs Tippe Swamy and Indira have recently joined TDP.
