It's a known fact that Samaikyandhra activists are going all out to show their anger against Congress. Their fury is being directed towards the statues of former Prime Ministers Rajiv Gandhi and Indira Gandhi.

In several places protestors were seen burning the effigies of the AICC chief. Their anger didn't stop there, some even conducted last rites to Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

The angry protestors are hurling footwear at statues and setting them on fire. Expressing concern over the statues, Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy directed the state police to obstruct the protests from damaging the statues of national leaders.

The buzz in the political circles is that Sonia Gandhi told the CM to stop demolishing the statues. She expressed anger on the CM and directed him to take stern action against the protestors, it is learnt.
