Congress executive committee to be appointed soon

The executive committee for the state Congress is likely to be appointed soon, party secretary K B Krishnamurthy said in Hyderabad on Friday.
The appointment of the new committee is pending though PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana assumed office long ago.
Replying to a query, Krishnamurthy, who is involved in looking after Congress affairs in AP, said the party was gearing up for the polls next year.
Asked about the removal of D L Ravindra Reddy from the state cabinet, he said it was the prerogative of the Chief Minister to make changes in his council of ministers.
