Congress core committee meeting on Telangana over
The much-awaited meeting of the Congress core committee meeting on Telangana wound up after deliberations for nearly two hours on the issue.
CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, Deputy CM Damodar Raja Narasimha and PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana came out of PM's residence in New Delhi after presenting their respective roadmaps on the contentious issue.
It is learnt that CM Kiran and Botsa told the core group about the problems that could arise if the state was divided.
Soon as they came out of the meeting room, CM Kiran and deputy CM left for AP Bhavan in separate vehicles, while Botsa left for his residence.
Sources say that the Congress High Command has asked the members to keep the discussions that happened during the closed door meeting a secret.
