Congress activist rapes woman in Anantapur

A Congress activist allegedly raped a married woman in Chilamatturu of Anantapur district on Thursday night.
According to reports, Narasimhulu, resident of Chilamatturu committed the crime, and the incident came to light when the victim approached the police.
Police lodged the complaint and launched a manhunt to nab the Congress worker.
Narasimhulu fled from the spot after raping her. The victim has been sent for medical examination.
