"Cong, TDP help each other in times of need"
It was Finance Minister P Chidambaram in New Delhi and TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra who were talking in high decibels on moving a no confidence motion.
Though they had different purposes in mind, the agenda was same. Chidambaram on Friday talking to media persons in New Delhi said that the government was ready to face a no confidence motion.
Predicting an opposition attack on FDI during the upcoming Parliament session, he said, government was ready to face any situation including a vote of confidence.
The TDP chief said he was ready to move a no-confidence motion, if it was needed. Chandrababu's statement today came as surprise for many as he said that he would only call for a no-trust motion, if the public wanted it. He did not make it clear if the party would move the motion in the Assembly.
Political analysts feet that in spite of all their differences Congress and TDP are friends. Chidambaram's statement can be seen as a challenge for BJP , while Chandrababu's statements are not clear by any measure.
