Cong MP Anantha Venkatarami Reddy joins YSRCP

In a major blow to the Congress in Seemandhra, Anantapur Congress MP Anantha Venkatarami Reddy joined the YSR Congress Party on Sunday, apparently in protest against division of the state to create Telangana.

Venkatarami Reddy met party Chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at the latter’s Lotus Pond residence and took membership of the party.

Party leaders of different levels also joined the YSRCP along with Venkatarami Reddy.
