Con-woman consumes poison in police cell in Hyderabad

A woman who duped many men with the promise of marriage tried to end her life when caught. This incident created quite a sensation.

Malavika, a resident of Kukatpally, dupes men with the promise of marriage through online marriage portals. However, she was arrested after an NRI lodged a complaint against her. During the interrogation, she suddenly collapsed. When the doctors examined her, they found that she consumed poison. She is stated to be out of danger.
It is been learnt that she has been cheating several men with marriage proposals. The incident came to light only on Friday after NRI man's complaint.

Meanwhile, DCP Paul Raju said that "Malavika had already consumed poison before attending the Central Crime Station and they have also recovered a suicide note from her." "We called for an inquiry following the complaint by the NRI," DCP said.
