Coming soon: 24 hours electricity in TS

Warangal: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on Tuesday said that uninterrupted electricity will be provided throughout the state from the year 2018.

Speaking after inaugurating Kakatiya Thermal power plant unit-II here, the CM said that the state will have abundant electricity by 2018 and each and every household in the State would get 24 hour uninterrupted supply.
The Telangana CM further said that farmers will be provided with nine hours electricity in Kharif season across Telangana and announced an outlay of Rs. 25,000 crore for the development of various power units in the State.
He said that the State Government would soon regularize the jobs of electricity department employees who are working on contract basis.

The CM inaugurated the Kakatiya Thermal Power plant at Dubbapalli Village in Ganapuram Mandal of Warangal district.
