Comedian Venu attacked
People from the Gouda community have attacked comedian Venu in Film Nagar on Sunday.
According to reports, Venu recently performed a skit in a TV show on the Gouda community. The Goudas found this offensive and lodged a complaint against the comedian at the OU police station.
People belonging to Goud caste association were hurt by the poor portrayal of their caste in the show. Stating that Venu has insulted the community, some people attacked him. He has been rushed to a Apollo hospital where his condition is stated to be out of danger.
